Aluminium LED Profile
An aluminium LED profile is the extruded channel that houses an LED strip, spreads its light and carries heat away from the diodes. Our channels run from 10 mm to 50 mm wide and 7 mm to 15 mm high, in 3 m lengths. MOQ starts at 300 m per profile.

Ten colours are held as standard, and every one of them can be produced glossy or matt. Send a colour reference — a swatch, a photo or a RAL code — and we match it. On standard tones the match typically reaches 90%, and unusual colours are confirmed with a physical sample before production. If the sheen matters for your project, say so at the enquiry stage and we will confirm it with the sample.
The same ten colours are used across the whole range, so mixed profiles on one job match.
Where LED profiles are used
LED profiles are used for cove and cornice lighting, under-cabinet runs, wardrobe interiors, display shelving and wall features. The channel holds the strip, softens the light through the diffuser and gives the run a clean, continuous line.

Frequently asked questions
Which LED strip width fits your channels?
Internal widths run from 10 mm to 50 mm, so the channel can take single-row and multi-row strips. Tell us the strip width, the PCB width and whether you need a diffuser, and we confirm the section that suits.
Do you supply the diffuser and the end caps?
Yes. The channel is supplied with a diffuser and matching end caps so a run can be finished on site. Tell us whether the run is recessed or surface mounted and we confirm the profile and the accessories.
Can the profile be recessed or surface mounted?
Both are produced. Tell us whether the run sits recessed into a plastered detail or fixed to a finished face, and we confirm the section and the accessories you will need.
