Aluminium Tile Trim
Tile trim is the profile that finishes the exposed edge of a tiled surface and protects it in service. Our sections are keyed to tile thickness, with inner heights of 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm covering most work. Lengths are normally 2.5 m, and MOQ starts at 300 m per profile.

Representative tile trim sections
Representative sections from our die library. The dimension that matters most is the inner height, because it has to match the tile you are laying. Tell us the tile thickness and we confirm the section.

Capability range
Every dimension below is confirmed against your drawing before production. Because the range is wide, we publish the working range rather than fixed SKUs.
| Item | Specification | What it means for your project |
|---|---|---|
| Material | Aluminium alloy | Extruded aluminium sections for interior trim |
| Grade | 6063-T5 | Standard architectural extrusion grade, confirmed against your specification before sampling |
| Item | Specification | What it means for your project |
|---|---|---|
| Inner height | 8 / 10 / 12 mm typical | The dimension that decides fit. It matches the tile thickness so the trim sits flush with the finished face |
| Width | TBC | Visible face width; it varies with the design and a small difference does not affect installation |
| Thickness | 0.5–1.0 mm | Standard range, with heavier walls on request |
| Standard length | 2.5 m | Supplied in standard lengths or cut to the size you need |
| Custom lengths | Cut to size | Cut to your required length on the production run |
Surface finishes and colours
| Item | Specification | What it means for your project |
|---|---|---|
| Surface finish | Anodized, powder-coated, wood-grain, brushed, polished, sandblasted | Available processes; powder coating can be matched to a RAL code |
| Gloss level | Glossy or matt | Every colour is available in either version — tell us the sheen you need |
| Colour | 10 standard | Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Bronze, Champagne, Grey, Granite, Light Grey, Black, White |
| Custom colours | Matched to your sample | Colour matched to your reference — typically within 90% on standard tones; special colours confirmed in advance |
Ten colours are held as standard, and every one of them can be produced glossy or matt. Send a colour reference — a swatch, a photo or a RAL code — and we match it. On standard tones the match typically reaches 90%, and unusual colours are confirmed with a physical sample before production. If the sheen matters for your project, say so at the enquiry stage and we will confirm it with the sample.
The same ten colours are used across the whole range, so mixed profiles on one job match.
Where tile trim is used
Tile trim is used wherever a tiled surface has an exposed edge: external corners on walls, window reveals, tiled columns, splashbacks and step edges. The trim closes the tile edge so the cut is never visible, and protects it against chipping.

Frequently asked questions
Which tile thickness does your trim fit?
Inner heights of 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm cover most wall and floor tiles, and other heights are produced. Tell us the tile thickness and whether you need an internal or an external corner piece, and we confirm the full set.
Do you supply the corner pieces and end caps?
Yes. A tiled corner needs more than the straight trim: an internal corner, an external corner and, on an open edge, an end cap. These are made to the same section and finish so the whole run matches.
Can the trim be used on floors as well as walls?
Yes, the same sections are used on floor edges and thresholds. For a floor tell us what the area has to carry and we confirm the wall thickness and the length you need.
